Ahhh, the monthly "which one would you...." . If my life was coming down around me that quickly, a guitar would be the last thing on my mind. Family, photos, documents....

I got an OM on Friday and it's the most comfortable and easiest guitar to play I've ever had. It's quite extraordinary how comfortably it fits me.

In the future I don't think I'll ever buy a different size.

This one is Silver Oak back and sides so it doesn't have the rosewood resonance and depth (which I really like) but as a guitar for accompanying a singer it's pretty much perfect. I'm still at the stage where I'm surprised how good it feels every time I pick it up.

In the spirit of the OP, I’d say my Bourgeois Signature OM Adi/Madrose. It’s my do everything extremely well, desert island guitar.

Depends on the day/week/month, today it's the Southern Jumbo

Of my 5 guitars (one is on consignment), my two custom made guitars are my favorites- Wingert E rosewood and Kramer Prairie Grass mahogany. I love playing both immensely. One is a 12 fret cutaway and the other a 14 fret non cutaway. Apples and oranges so one really isn’t better than the other. If a life depended on my grabbing just one, it would probably be the Kramer because it is the lighter of the two.
Good thing this is only a game here because I am just getting ready to get them both out, change strings, and play the heck outta both of ‘em!
Best,
Jayne

Really can't do it.

My "favorites" for composing/playing are my Avalon, Larrivee/Guild and my Cordoba. For picking the blues I like my Gibson and Martin.

I'm not a one guitar kind of guy.

Well....... since it's just a game......... whichever was closest, cased and ready to jump with.. either my Kinnaird OM deep body as it's one of a kind or my Goodall GC as it's my most versatile/gigging guitar.

This must be how Meryl Streep felt in Sophie's Choice.

My Sitka/mahogany Brook Torridge by a nose over my Martin 000-18 - it would be a touch choice.

It would have to be 2 - one electric and one acoustic - and that is a 000-15m and a telecaster. Both go extremely quiet for home use which is important to me. As much as I love rosewood, the wide dynamic range and touch responsiveness produces more volume and overtones than is acceptable where I live.
