Again, sorry for all of the background noise. I swear I WILL have a man-cave/recording space one day.

As Autumn sets in here in the UK, this is a song for stormy weather, recorded for Youtube about a week ago. Actually inspired by some lively weather in New York State as seen by a Brit traveller (me). Hope you like it.

Post October Autumn Music from Lance Gergar

A song I wrote last week inspired by the changing of seasons. Always puts me in a good mood =)

Nicely done. That's kind of a song you would play alone in your room with lights off, while it's getting dark outside...

I really liked this! Melancholy lyrics combined with cheerful music. Very nice!

"Fall Song" by Mark Evans
Wrote this some years back and it has gone through many incarnations. This is a rustic, one mic recording done recently. Don't recall which guitar was used. Some of my better 'word-smithing.'

"There's a whole school of buses
and gray whales in Oregon.
Cardigan and woolen socks,
It's time to pull them on.
We'll be turning back the clocks,
soon, in time we'll have to find a rocking chair
Gonna rock my share
in that old rocking chair..."

(and a small ditty called 'Acorn Rain')

thanks for sharing that. it works well on the guitar. it also works as an autumn song (even though it's summer for you), given the sadness of separation theme.

This is a piece by contemporary guitarist/composer Jeremy Choi, title track from his second album called "At the Door".
The title doesn't have any particular connection with autumn, but for me this is definitely an autumn song. Maybe because I first heard it in autumn, maybe because being "at the door" means being about to leave and this season has a feeling of leaving things behind and often symbolizes things coming to an end, but I completely fell in love with this a bit sad and beautiful nostalgic melody and it connected with the theme of autumn in my head forever.

The album was released in October, by the way
P.S. It was my very first video, so the quality isn't perfect, sorry for this...
that was really beautiful. pretty tune, lovely playing. very well done.

Here's my mediocre take on "Highway Kind" by Townes van Zandt. A very Autumn'ish song I'd say.

Thanks, and to everybody else for the nice comments.

Yeah, I just kinda went for it I like to see if I can paint myself into a corner and get out without too many footprints.

that was very nice. i could hear the wind blowing the leaves.
