Default In search for a Blending Acoustic Preamp

Currrently I am running my K&K into the T1 module of a Bose model II or a K4 depending on the circumstance.

I just purchased a DPA 4099 external clip-on mic which goes to an XLR cable and needs phantom power.

So now I have two cables. Endpin and external cable. What to do?

I am considering using a blending preamp. I am familiar with the Pendulum SPS 1 and the Rane AP 13 and the Dtar Eclipse and the Fishman Blender. Are there any other blending preamp possiblities that I am missing that might fit my needs?

Shouldn't the K&K and DPA work with the Bose T1? They certainly won't work together with the Taylor K4.

There are many dual source blenders besides the ones you mentioned, including the D-TAR Solstice (good unit) and Highlander PAMDI (very good unit).

The DPA and T1 should work great together, just plug it into a mic channel and turn on phantom power. Incidently, the T1 makes a nice little mixer for any use, even without the L1, as long as you pickup the external power adaptor.

I definitely will use the T1 when I use the Bose. I never considered using it when I am not using the Bose. Hmm...
