One more thing... the mix board has a traditional British EQ on it... better control than the simple high/low on the PW50. Add to that that it includes a few effects (I found I liked Chorus with my acoustic), and compression, I was able to make the acoustic guitar sound fantastic (Taylor A10E). In this case, I do think the sub is adding to the sound... Ill test that further later.
