A History of Rock Music in 500 Songs

I recently started listening to a podcast “A History of Rock Music in 500 Songs” tracking the development of Rock through its various predecessor forms, and the back stories of the people involved.
Very deeply researched and well done.
It’s quite a marathon though, early episodes are around 30 minutes rising to over 4 hours for “dark star” by the Grateful Dead (not got close to that one yet)
If the history of Rock is your thing, try it out. It’s available on various platforms, I use Spotify.
