2010 Paul Woolson Steel String Double Top - Pulled from Market
Woolson.jpg
Having just sold another guitar, I no longer need to sell this one. (I would have missed it!) Thanks to all at AGF for their interest! With a lovely tone, and a gorgeous, impeccable build, this 2010 Paul Woolson double top is fully described in the following Reverb link: https://reverb.com/item/39575921-woo...northern-birch This is one of the most expressive guitars I've ever heard...with good technique, you can really shape the sound. The AGF price is $XXXX, plus actual shipping cost. This remarkable "sinker project" build was described by Paul in a 2010 AGF post (see first link below,) and by several folks in other posts (second link below,) as it has passed through several sets of hands. It remains a truly unique and remarkable instrument in excellent condition. I encourage anyone interested to view Paul's website for a full explanation of all that is entailed to produce a guitar of this type. https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=180682 https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=354097 The buyer can return this guitar, for any reason, within three days, providing it is returned in the same identical condition. If done, the purchase price will be refunded, minus the shipping charge. I don't want anyone to feel compelled to keep something that isn't wanted. Thank you for looking! Woolson LG Sound Examples
For those wondering how this guitar sounds, the best I can do, at this point, is provide links to YouTube videos of Derek Coombs playing his Woolson LG on two of his beautiful original compositions. Derek is quite an accomplished fingerstyle player. While my play is a long way from comparing to Derek's, our two guitars are remarkably similar in tone. I wouldn't be able to tell them apart.

This guitar passed through my hands and I will say it is a really cool instrument. The story behind the woods, the construction technique and the Woolson sound are all unique. Sometimes guitars are just extra cool because of the provenance and that is how I feel about this guy!!!
Someone needs to buy this one.

Really appreciate your "thumbs up," Tom!
This one has come close several times, now. Each time I've had some serious second thoughts about selling it. It's one of those cases of needing to...not wanting to. I know I'm going to regret giving it up. |
