And Operation Ivy! Kind of interesting that someone with her level of technical skill still reverts to mostly downstrokes and power chords for a song like this.

I never meant that in a critical way, just thought it was interesting. Punk is always associated with such playing, presumably because the musicians often are not that technically proficient. I found it interesting/ ironic that even when a highly accomplished musician plays such music, down strokes and power chords are still what sounds great and totally work.

Just because the song seems simple, you shouldn't assume the musician is not proficient.
