The Schneider Sparrow
An amazing luthier just moved in to my neck of the woods from Cincinnati and I have been getting to know him and his work. He has set up two of my instruments and done an absolutely stellar job, going way beyond what I have seen in the past. Recently I had the opportunity to touch, feel, hear and even play this instrument and I am duly impressed. A one time student of D'Aquisto, Dave Schneider's attention to detail is staggering and the results of his efforts are easy to see and to hear.
I am having trouble with posting pics so just follow the links. I will get it figured out. https://www.dropbox.com/s/0dkygahggo...sical_Back.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/k5m4pjcj59...ssical_047.jpg https://www.dropbox.com/s/nbiwb203ab...sical_Head.jpg http://www.schneiderguitars.com/sparrow.htm -d Last edited by 1dhoff; 04-29-2014 at 07:56 PM. |

From what I can see it looks very nice indeed! Does he have a web site?
Just answered my own question: http://www.schneiderguitars.com/ |

I love when I answer my own questions. Just sat with him for two hours discussing the build process. I am going to have him build something for me. It may take a while, but if I expect it to be worth the wait.

Go for it, Hoff. It's your time to shine.
