Default Sometimes my Focusrite puts out garbled sound

I started to listen to something in another thread using my headphones into my Focusrite 2i4 when suddenly garbled distortion was mixed in with the music. I unplugged the Focusrite usb, closed my browser and waited 30 seconds. Then I plugged it back in and started my browser. Back to normal. Anyone else experience this?

Humm ??? did you go back and listen to the same music and it was OK ? Because my first suspicion would something garbled in stream/feed from the source, if you are not experiencing it from any other source.

If it happens again if would switch sources rather than shutting down and rebooting

Did this happen repeatedly? On different sources/apps? Etc?

No it was just a soundcloud clip played though my browser. I've had it happened before with soundcloud, youtube etc.

Ya if your not hearing it in your DAW files,,, just write it off to a bad streaming event or host server glitch

Hi Barry
Bummer…hope it's just a random thing. I always suspect a power interruption (not sure you can have that with USB power).

I had issues with Scarlett before I gave it away, but never that particular one.

I'd suspect something in the streaming of the audio rather than the interface. I have a Focusrite 2i2 hooked up to the computer I'm on, listening to a stream while I check AGF and type this. My experience is that stream glitches are common on any platform, computing device, etc. and are more likely from things before it hits your computer.

Sure it could be a hardware issue, but Occam shaves right most of the time.
