If you play traditional music genres such as bluegrass, folk, old time, or trad Celtic, then check out Strum Machine.

Hmm, I guess then I don’t fully understand your question. You can easily enter in custom chord progressions in Strum Machine, if that’s what you want. If that’s not it, can I ask you to take another go at describing what you want?

You can probably do what you want with Garage Band.

The Spark amp software is worth considering if you are thinking of a practice and home environment for the way it interacts with the amp, Apple Music, Spotify, and YouTube. That is free but your can get their amps new and used at a range of modest prices.

Another really nice one is a circle of 5th app has developed into Tonally app that has a songwriting element in addition to the music theory stuff.

What I'm finding really interesting with this Spark angle is you can easily create a track and have drum machine features but also have what is sort of limitless because of how it works with YouTube and uses your Apple or Spotify accounts too. Without the Spark Mini present the app plays stand alone so I put the phone or tablet on a music stand with my tube amps too.

I use SessionBand on ios. It is easy to make up chord progressions and there are many strumming patterns. You can purchase SessionBand for jzz, blues or pop.
