Default Is the EV Evolve 30M the best system around $1K for solo acoustic shows?

I've been looking to get a Linear Array PA system for my solo acoustic shows and I know there are many great choices around at my price point (around 1K).
It seems like the Evolve 30M gets almost universal great reviews and I like the idea of a sub that's not to hard to lug around and also the phone app with EQ and effects. Seems like you could do a show with it and nothing else if you wanted to. I also use a drum pedal, so I need a sub to get some low end impact from the drums. Most of the places I play are for around 25-50 people and if I ever needed more volume for a larger outdoor show, I could add an additional 10" speaker on a pole. Thoughts?

The 30M would be plenty for a crowd that size, I've heard it in the wild. Sounds great. Never heard a drum pedal through it, but with a 10" woofer it should at least be decent.

The inevitable comparison would be to the Bose L1 Pro8, currently priced exactly the same at Sweetwater. On paper the 30M has a higher SPL but the Pro8 would also easily handle your baseline requirements. Then the 30M has more onboard inputs etc etc. Adding more bass or extensions to these things for larger venues is something outside even my pretend expertise.
