Default Rare Burns USA Acoustic Cutaway - SOLD!

Selling a rare Burns USA acoustic guitar.

Burns produced mostly electrics beginning in the early 60’s.

In 1964 I was fortunate enough to own both a Burns “Tri-Sonic” and a green “Double-Six.”

Very little to no information about Burns acoustics on the internet. A Burns expert in England told me he has heard of them and believes they were manufactured by a small Korean shop in very small numbers.

Series: Premier Cutaway

Model: APR-C
Serial number 0409077

Near perfect condition with very little evidence of play wear.

Pretty much “000” size with Burns scroll headstock and great inlays.

Quilted maple body and sides which I believe to be laminate, however the interior wood figure is exactly the same quilted pattern/figure as the outside.

Solid spruce top - nice grain with a fair amount of silking.

Super easy fretting, less than 5/64” at the 12th fret and it passes the ruler test.

Looking to get $SOLD
PayPal friends and family or Venmo...

A great guitar for a quiet session on the couch, or even better, a super gift for a young person wanting to learn how to play.

Shame on me!
Action is 5/64”, not 5/32” as originally listed...

I would describe the neck as being on the thin side.
Very well suited for a smaller hand - I tend to fat finger it.
Open to offers but not wanting to trade...
