Something "happened" during the image loading..... But if you right click the little icon, and select "open in a new tab", then you can see an image.

justz, just curious...

- Am I correct to assume that these commemorative guitars were built in 2017?
- Do you happen to know how many of the L-03 150th were made? It seems there was a D-03 150th as well.
- What is the fretboard and headstock overlay made of?
- What is the string spacing at nut and saddle?
- What is the string height at the 12th fret?
- Are you the original owner?

Hello,

Yes, they made these in the D body as well. They were built in 2017, although my understanding is that there were some finished in 2018.
I do not know how many were made.

The headplate and the fingerboard are Ebony. the nut size and saddle string spacing are 1-3/4" and 2-1/4", strings at the 12th is .050 on the bass, .03-.04 on the treble.

I am the original owner.

Thank you.

Thanks for the further info. It seems like quite a nice guitar which I’ve been considering to the extent I’ve done some digging. I think you may be off on the nut width and string spacing. Fwiw, here’s what I found on the Larrivée website. This site profiles the D-03, but the detail states it was available in D, L, LV and OM body styles. Likely, the nut width and saddle spacing are the same on all.

Scale Length: 25.5”
Upper Bout: 11.875”
Waist: 10.875”
Lower Bout: 16”
Body Depth: 5”
Nut Width: 1-11/16"
Saddle Spacing: 2-3/16"

It’s tempting, but I’m going to pass. GLWTS!

Having owned both D and L models, I can confirm that the OP’s specs are correct for L models (fingerpicking). Tom‘s are correct for the D model (rhythm).

I have a Custom shop L03W (sitka/walnut) with the leaf inlay in the fretboard, none in the bridge - but 3 bigger leaves at the headstock.
This has become my goto guitar - it beats out guitars selling for 3 to 4 times as much!
Excellent tone, playability, build quality, wood selection - it has it all.
I put an LR Baggs Active Element VTC pickup in it - just superb!
A buyer would be more than impressed with this guitar... BTW, mine isn't for sale!
Best of luck on your sale.

I’m really glad you have direct experience to have further clarified. Thanks! Sorry if I may have caused any confusion.

Just to confirm, I have measured it and nut size and saddle string spacing are 1-3/4" and 2-1/4", same as the standard L series.
