NGD Yamaha LL36
Ah yes.....Stunning is the word that comes to mind. Not only visually stunning but acoustically sound. Not a flaw on her as craftmanship is tops. The Engleman spruce top is absolutely beautiful and the nitro finish is grade A. Cannot wait to see how she fills out in the coming years but with the ARE process, the tone is already to die for. No problems at all recommending the LL36 from Yamaha.

Congratulations! I'm blessed to have a 2010 LLX26. The 36 is on my radar. Beautiful guitar. Are the bridge pins ebony?

Thanks! It does not appear that the pins are ebony so I foresee a cosmetic upgrade in the future.

What a great guitar!
I purchased an LL-16D a few months ago. It is a beautiful guitar that sounds as good as it looks. I would love to own an LL-36 but I don't see that happening. I would love to be able to play an LL-36 and one of the new FG9 guitars to see how they compare in sound.

With the impeccable build decisions that go into these guitars, I'd be very tempted to leave well enough alone. At least for a time. |

That's a nice guitar! I've had my eye on the LS36 for some time now. I own an LL15 that I bought in 1984. Hard to believe it's 40 years old already. It was my only acoustic until the end of last year when I went crazy buying Alvarez Yairi guitars. Something about high end Japanese guitars that I love.
