Default Two Rock on the way!!! And a choice...

I put in my pre-order for the new Two Rock Studio Signature last month, and I can't wait for it to come in....10 weeks from now!!! Oh the humanity!

In the meantime, I need to figure out what to do with my current rig. I didn't plan to sell my Marshall Origin 20 head and cab, but I'm starting to feel it is the most responsible thing to do. I was going to run a dual rig, but I can't see myself ever wanting to plug into the Origin with a Two Rock sitting around. I have to use pedals anyways, so I don't really even get that cranked Marshall tone 95% of the time.

Which one would you do?

A) Keep the Marshall and use the Marshall 2x12 cab with the Two Rock?

or

B) Sell the Marshall head and cab and purchase a matching Two Rock 2x12 vertical cab!

I've had several Two Rocks, go with their cab. I also have a '70 JMP 50 head and two matching mid '70s 4x12's, they don't sound right with the TR's I've had. At least the 20w old Celestions didn't. My Bruno sounds good and I have a Aiken 2x12 that's much better too. Get the matching Two Rock, you'll do it eventually anyhow.

That's a cool rig! You should look at the new Marshall Studio Vintage 20 head! I'd have one in a heartbeat, but the Two Rock stole all of my cash!

I'm beginning to think this way. For a while I thought that the only way to get a Les Paul to sound right was to play it through a Marshall, but after seeing Joey Landreth play through some Two Rocks, I think it is all in how you set the amp up.

I've got my Marshall stack on sale on CL, so if I get a taker it will probably leave my possession. Until then, I will rock out!
