That Contreras of yours looks really sweet. A spruce top Olson sounds very nice -- and I'm torn myself between that option and having the traditional cedar/rosewood combo. As for the exact date of my trip, you'll know when I come back! |

On spruce vs. cedar...if you go with spruce, at least you know you've already got a cedar SJ...or you could commission both...then if you don't like the spruce, send it my way Well, no matter what the mystery date is, I look forward to hearing how it goes! |

I love that city. I've stayed there 3 times before. So, great, you also take professional-quality photos in addition to nailing it on fingerstyle guitar. Joe, you really make it hard for one to catch up with you
Looking forward to hearing more about your visit! |

Love your photography Mau. I frequent your new website as you know and the pics are really nice buddy. I do hope we hook up because I can only imagine your minds' vision of the photos you'd take around these parts; from the little river cafes of San Marco, to the many beaches and such...not to mention the jam we'd enjoy.

Hi Mau,
I am just now catching up with you on this thread! The photos of your guitar are absolutely stunning. The case, too! And now you are in Minneapolis to go pick up your guitar from Jim Olson's shop... How cool is that?! Your Olson is so fancy, it makes mine look like a poor cousin. Holy Smokes! What a stunner! I can't wait to hear some of your playing on this guitar, Mau! I hope your trip goes well and that you have a very, Merry Christmas! - Glenn |

Mau, great photos and I have sure enjoyed all your posts! I will happen to be in Ottawa for Christmas...if we get out towards your neck of Quebec (wherever that may be...) I may just have to give you a call.
Congratulations on the new guitar. Matt

Thanks so much for your post. I am not serious about photography but I really enjoy it. Minneapolis seems like a fine northern city. Feels like Canada... |
