Default Kostal om

Hi eveyone,
This is my first time posting here. I have been following AGF members for a few years now and finally decided to become a member. I would like to thank everyone for helping me decide on a guitar from Jason. Your threads have been extremely helpful and entertaining. I have been waiting for almost 4 yrs and my due date is sep/2015. Thank you!

I am a 100% flatpicker though. I hope you fellas don't get on my case! I HARDLY strum, only when the song I am playing asks for it. I love the Al Dimeola type of intricate picking.

Of course I'm only joking about the 'getting on my case' stuff.

Well, you might as well throw it on the bonfire now.

Seriously, I love my Kostal OM and a pal of mine (Vicov on here) has one arriving this week, so I hope to try that soon. I know it will be great.

I know it's a long wait but console yourself - I wouldn't have been able to afford two guitars from Jason if I were buying today.

Cheers,
Steve

Thank you for the kind words everyone! I am really happy to be chatting with you all.
Steve,
I have been following your threads since the beginning stages of your MD and I have to say you have been extremely helpful. I love your OM as well. Best of both worlds! Thank you for the great videos, especially the comparison between the two. As for the bonfire, I think I will wait awhile! Ha ha!

Man, that's nearly ancient history now: 4 years ago.

Best recommendation for that guitar is that I still have it. Not many have lasted that long in my stable!

Cheers,
Steve

That is great news coming from you. I hope my OM will be what I am looking for. I have never played a kostal nor have I ever owned an acoustic worth more than 4k. So you can imagine how I feel about this jump to the next level . For the past 2 yrs I only play an acoustic I bought 20 yrs ago for $350. I sold everything else.Talk about day and night difference. Any thoughts about flat picking on your kostals? Especially on your OM. I would appreciate any input. Thanks!

Based on my own experienced - YOU WILL NOT REGRET ORDERING A KOSTAL.

Looking forward to following your build.

Cheers
