Default The first AlphaOmega Trance

Hey everyone,

Here's my new model I'm calling the AlphaOmega "Trance". The body is a modified Grand Concert, but the biggest difference is what I'm doing on the inside with the bracing. I don't have any pictures to put up of the interior, but maybe on the next one. The top is WRC, the back is Mahogany, and all the detailing is purple heart.

Here's another addition to the modern growth series of rosettes I've been doing.

Thanks so much for looking.

My preferences normally run toward the traditional, but I really like this!

Thanks a lot guys! It was fun to do something a little more out there. It's a nice change of pace to tackle the other side of the upper bout.

Andrew that's quite nice. I'm anxious to see how the end of the fretboard works into the design. Got something up your sleeve?

I have a terrible habit of not thinking that far in advance... so I'm also wondering if I've got something up my sleeve I've started taking on custom builds so we might have to wait a little while to see how this one turns out, but I'll keep chipping away when I have time.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Hi Andrew,

Like I've mentioned to you a while ago, coming up with "new" ideas that actually look good is not an easy task.

I'm personally rather conservative in my own selection of guitars, but I must say your latest work is further evidence of your great eye for "harmonious" but yet "different".

Good going!

do you have any pictures of the bass side? I'd like to see what the side looks like at that point in the upper bout.

Thanks a lot everyone!

Brad, I'm just finishing up getting the back bindings done, I'll post some pictures when it's unwrapped.

I really appreciate that. Don't be fooled though, I have a lot of designs that end up not making the cut. I do all the viewers the curtsey of keeping those under pretty tight wraps. I prefer the illusion of brilliance than the truth

Thanks again everyone.
