Thanks Christie! You know we had fun making this instrument. We’re so happy that it is all that you wanted.

I loved seeing your build. Steve and Ryan are building me one right now with bearclaw sitka (loved yours) and gorgeous madigascar side and back. I already own an FS cedar one and love it. Cannot wait for this one to get done.

Ok, now you've totally ruined my perceptions of what a 00 sized instrument sounds like.

I've played dreads that don't have 1/10 of that deep resonant sound and here it is coming from a "little" guitar!

Words cannot express my wonderment in hearing that marvelous instrument in the hands of a master player.

Thank you for posting this and recording her playing it. This is a life-memory!

Thank you for the beautiful arrangement and sensitive rendition of one of my favorite hymn. Meaningful.

May I ask what strings you use on it and the scale length?

I've been noodling around with the idea of ordering a very lightly braced 00+ guitar.

Thanks again.

Thanks everyone for all the love on this guitar. Christie has now had her guitar for about a year. Unfortunately, health issues have kept her from releasing her latest record. She still loves this lightweight guitar. I believe in recording she plays D’addario phosphor bronze lights and elixirs when gigging.

This is our 00 model with a 24.9” scale.

Yes, this thread is over a year old, but I am glad it resurfaced so I could listen to that great video again. The guitar and Christie sound great. I hope she is feeling better soon.

Again, that guitar is stellar for sure!

I don't know if I listened to the recording when first posted. It's really nice; the playing, arrangement, and the guitar.

Is the 00 a standard model now?

Is there also a 14 fret 00 design? Long scale?

Just now coming on to this thread.
Christie, I was totally mesmerized by your playing. Every note was crystal clear, smooth and totally even. Sincerely, I loved every second of your playing.
The sound of your Cedar guitar is astounding! And it is also so, so beautiful.
They say that in a good recording, it is the Player first, instrument, Mic, preamp....in that order. I thought I was listening to a studio recording it was performed so perfectly.
So in this case, I have to believe the old recording adage...It is the Player and instrument above all.
WOW! best describes the feeling I got listening to this lovely guitar.

Like Ryan said, thanks for your repeated kindness about this guitar.
Chuck, as of now we don't make a 14 fret version of the 00. The 12-fretter IS in the queue of standard models we offer. Typical is short scale (24.9") but we can accommodate a 25.4" scale if requested...though not sure if that would be necessary.

Steve

Agreed! I'll be holding a good thought that Christie has a full recovery and we can hear more of her lovely playing on this beauty of a guitar.

Best,
Jayne

Thumbs up Good vibes

.. what could be more encouraging for someone creating such 'good vibrations' out of a guitar than to get the same from every direction.
So- all the best vibes and wishes from Bavaria!
