We have done a little work this new year. So we thought we would show off our latest instrument. It’s a Sitka/Cuban Mahogany 12 fret 12 string SJ.

Thanks for looking!

Wow, she is a beauty. Love everything including the inlay on the fretboard and the fancy little accents under the logo! Great photos too.

I love the sunburst and Cuban mahogany on this SJ-12 string. I'm sure it sounds great too! Well done Steve and Ryan.

Thanks, guys. Tom, you might remember this “package” from having seen and played Lonzo’s 12-string. Everything is the same on this one, except for the species of mahogany. We thought we’d try some Cuban and see how it compares with Sapele.

Beautiful guitar, gentlemen! The Cuban mahogany is so richly-colored, and the ‘burst really ties everything together! I think the 12-fret neck on a 12-string is a great idea.

..looks oddly familiar ;o)

And the sound no doubt is going to be fantabulous, if the one I know is anything to go by… as Steve and Ryan are upping their game with every iteration it seems…

Does this one have pickups ? … you know why I ask

that is really pretty. The edge burst on the mahogany really frames the figure nicely. Brilliant idea.

Cuban Mahogany is the good stuff! Although, I'd suspect little difference compared to Sapele. Great looking guitar.

Dave and Dennis, our thanks guys for the kind words. And yes, this guitar is LOUD. But moving the bridge back keeps it, I feel, from being harsh. There is a sweetness to the notes. Can you tell I like it?

I feel as if I should know, yet I can’t pull the answer out. But no, no pickups.
And yes, I think it’s the equal to yours!

Thanks bro, thanks Chuck. Refer to the previous comment, and you’ll be confirmed in your comment. Lonzo’s 12 and this one sound nearly identical to my ear. (Except that Lonzo’s is 2+ years older. That does good things to taut wood.)
