Default Santa Cruz 00 1929

I've been on a quest for an all mahogany guitar for a while and have zeroed in on this model. Feel free to ping me if you're looking at selling yours!

Don't count out the 12 fret Collings all hog models. They're simply amazing. Also, vintage Martin 0-17s

Thanks - will check out the Collings (I had looked at Waterloo MH 12 fretters but the Santa Cruz has the tone I'm looking for). Haven't checked out Collings MHs but will do so. Collings tone is not usually what I gravitate to, but these all mahogany variants I find often differ from other models from the same company.

I’m not selling mine, but I’ll chime in to say I think you’ve zeroed in on a great model. I love mine and don’t see myself letting it go. Good luck in your search!

These show up regularly for sale here. In fact, as I type this, there is a current listing here within the past few days. Under $4000.

Check this one out. Based on the standard model, but with a wider neck and a slothead.

Mike

I have a hogtop Santa Cruz PJ. It’s not for sale and I can’t really tell you how it is similar and different from the 00 1929, but you are welcome to come over and try it to get a sense little hogtops from SC when it stops raining. Can also tell you Bix is a great guy who keeps his guitars in pristine condition.

Jeff
