Wade,

That is one nice guitar. It's a very unique choice of woods. I especially like the mad rose fretboard. Congratulations.

Well I am finally getting around to posting some nice pictures of this beauty.

This is a fantastic guitar with great depth, power and clarity. The notes are strong and balanced all over the fretboard. Responsive to a light touch but can handle any attach. I asked John for a guitar that would sound nice for finger style and strumming and he sure delivered. The guitar is a joy to play and hear.

Enjoy these outdoor shots.

Beautiful guitar, Wade! I don't remember seeing this one on the bench on my occasional visits to John's shop, but I love the silking on the Lutz and - of course - the African mahogany (which is on my OO as well!)

For those of you who have not had the privilege of hearing or playing one of John's small body guitars - your jaw would drop. The volume is huge - but it's all balanced. Standing 10 feet or so in front of the guitar you think it's mic'd!

Very cool. Enjoy - and thanks for sharing the pictures!

Phil

Beautiful guitar! Congratulations. It is almost a sister to my L32 from John so I know exactly what a treat you have! Enjoy it in good health.

Thanks Folks, it is a beauty.

Phil, I think your 00 was on the bench just before mine. They may has spent some time on the bench together. I really like John's new 00 body shape. It has some nice curves.

Off to play my new Mayes.
