Rick,

Really classy song and very well played. Your playing is really precise and clean.
Great rythm in this song as well.

Very nice playing and recording... I rarely listen to instrumental pieces all the way through... but did this one- and liked it!

Wonderful song and beautiful playing, as always from you! Love the swing to it, and it has a nice bit of a jazz sound to it.

Some really fine parts. I love the back-and-forth kind of feeling with the higher notes and the lower, slightly bent ones. The little part with the minor sounding chords has a great melody to it, very pretty. And that monotone/pedal bass part is just great. Each part was great, actually, and flow so nicely to the next.

It is always surprising what will come next in your songs, but always makes for a great feeling to listen to. And the guitar has a wonderful sound, love the lower/mid notes on it a lot.

Thanks for listening to some original instrumental music guys - most won't bother. Comments appreciated too and shawlie for your detailed feedback.

I'm late to the party Rick, but I love the Bossa feel of the piece and your playing is flawless. The unfortunate reality of this type of music (which I would play exclusively if I could) is that on a club gig most people will be talking through it. The one guy sitting there spellbound, however, will be me.

In fact, I wouldn't mind seeing you play it. How about a video?

When I first read the title, I thought it was going to be a spoof of "You're not the Bossame!"

Just kidding.

I loved this song. The playing was really crisp. As Shawlie said, I loved the turns the song took. So creative, and that's what I love to hear in an original.

That's an iPod tune, for sure.

Rick, really nice tune . . . I heard a bossa nova meets Autumn Leaves kind of vibe, with your musicality mixing it all up . . .

That made me chuckle, Rick! I've come to learn that some will snub instrumentals, some will snub anything that is NOT an instrumental, some snub covers, some snub originals, some snub anything that uses more than one or two guitars and some snub anything that is not their own post (won't listened and comment on anyone but themselves). In the words of Ricky Nelsen, "you can't please everyone, so you have to please yourself."
