Default Other photo hosting sites besides IMGUR?

Started using Imgur last year when Photobucket did their changes.
One PITA thing was image arranging in an album - dragging and dropping, because the images upload in a fairly random order, and there is no sorting options. Now it looks like even that doesn't work when you have too many photos in an album - might be 400 or 500 images(?) as the limit. When I drag and drop, everything looks fine, but the next time I go into the album, the ones I moved are in random places again.

I liked the way the album looked when you shared the link - they could scroll through small (but not thumbnail) images with captions.
Is there any other free photo hosting site that gives the same type of 'scroll through' album look?
I've been messing with this Imgur album for a week now and have given up - seems like the problem started 2 years ago, when Imgur removed the 'arrange by' option in albums.

I started a Flickr account, seems to do what I want - at least it didn't do a random upload the way Imgur did, and seems to have no issues with an album with over 500 pictures, will see how it does when I start rearranging some of them. I use 2 cameras + a phone, and often want to put a 'subject' picture (a sign for example) before the rest.

Flickr for me. Easy to use (I only use it from my laptop, though). Doesn't kill my steam powered laptop when browsing other people's photos, like some picture sites that will not be mentioned.

Here’s a recent Google photos album. See if that works for you: https://photos.app.goo.gl/tBw98f9ti8RB6bgo8

I have a paid Yahoo email account. They own Flickr so it includes a free Flickr account. I hate it and only use it when I have to. For AGF, I attach smaller files as part of my charter membership.

The problem with Flickr is that it is completely cumbersome and convoluted to use.

you have film roll, folders, photo albums, projects and they all overlap so no idea what the heck is what

I taught computer science college classes and did graduate research on complex software development and ran a global software business. I'm a really savvy user. But every time I want to share photos on Flickr, I fumble around maniacally until something suddenly shows up by luck - there is no rhyme or reason to how you operate their software.

For example, I shared pics of our daughter's prom (I was the unofficial photographer). It took me an entire evening until I could send out a link saying "photos are HERE"

it sucks

Sorry, I'm not trying to debate you with you today (just responded to another post of yours), but I find Flickr extremely easy to use.

It's also free with 1 TB of hosting available. I've been using it for years.

Not sure why it seems so un-intuitive to me. It could certainly be me.

Flickr still made me use a Yahoo account to start a Flickr one. Noticed a few hiccups if I tried to move too many photos around in an album before saving.
I liked the way IMGUR displayed an album (to the non-account user), where they just to keep paging down to see photos, rather than click the 'next' arrow. Flickr looks like it may be trying to insert ads into the stream this way as I was getting a frequent 'can't load picture' frame, but hitting the arrow got me to the next picture.
