Default NGD McPherson Sable

My new McPherson Sable just arrived.

Overall, it sounds great. The body shape is virtually the same size as my classical guitars and as such very comfortable for me to plan. The neck is very comfortable and easy to play. The guitar is a bit on the heavy side but not more so than my electrics and not an issue.

Not a loud has I expected but I guess a I am just used to my wood guitars.
All in all, I am really liking this instrument.

Right on man. Two months and counting and I haven't touched my wood guitars since getting my Sable. It's the perfect guitar.

These mods I made to mine may not be your speed, but I'll share them just in case:

If they ever offer the Sable in short scale it may indeed be the perfect guitar!

Like their Touring Guitar's neck perhaps.

Oh wow - love the honeycomb top!! Congratulations on that new guitar - a great looker. I'd put some ebony tuner buttons on there too.

I emailed McPherson about a short scale or 12 fret Sable. They replied they have something in the works but it won’t be ready for 2019. Ahh! My new Sable Gold will be here in 3 days! The waiting game is excruciatingly wonderful. Scouring the internet for any Sable review I can find!

Sounds familiar! I've had mine 8 months now and still haven't touched a wood guitar since I got it.

Of course I have three Emeralds on order now...
