Default Who makes the best Clear Pickguard?

I had one on the Osthoff and it was basically invisible. I am not sure if it was the adhesive type or the “cling-on” type, it was on there when I got it. I am confused looking at them, which one will mimic the type mentioned? Appreciate any input… thanks.

healing shield on amazon makes the static stick on type. Its what I put on my Eastman E10ss. I'm really happy with mine. I just like the fact you can just take it off if you want. If it wears out I will just buy another one. I think it was around 15 bucks. Get the glossy one though, if you decide to get one.

Why the glossy? Is it because of looks or something else?

Be aware of the static cling on type - see warnings

I'd be more inclined to trust Larrivee

I've bought a couple Taylor ones and they've worked well and been nearly invisible. One is on a matte finish Seagull cedar folk and I think I put the other on a Taylor Academy 12 I had a little while back.

It's this one: https://reverb.com/item/6057474-tayl...xoCA3IQAvD_BwE

I said glossy because its really almost invisible on my guitar. The matte, not so much.

I'm considering a self-adhesive one myself for my Neptune which has a satin finish. Here's a good video on how to fit one, bubble-free...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0oXsTu7CuSI

I like the self-adhesive material available from Stu Mac. You cut to whatever shape you want and install following Frank Ford's helpful guide at Frets.com for a bubble-free installation.

It's difficult to see unless you're close to it.
