Correct. iOS. The Mac can connect via web browser to the iPad edit the database residing on the iPad. It’s not for stage use.

I looked at the web site and followed the breadcrumbs to the pricing section. US$6.99 - a one-time purchase? I've spent more than that on software that was useless. And even twice that, for two licenses on two machines is still not break-the-bank expensive. But it's not for performing? That's probably a deal-killer for me. I've been using Ultimate Guitar, and even though it has some shortcomings, it has adjustable font sizing and scrolling, and gets the job done. I'd kind of like to have chord inversions or diagrams placed where needed, but then what is the need for SongbookPro?

Ah, this confused me because the software I use has both. Turns out I have “Songbook” (by Linkesoft), not Songbook Pro. Never used Songbook Pro. So my testimonial above was about Songbook, which is great. |

I can't tell what the current price is as I already own it, but I think I paid a one time fee of $25 awhile back. Now the app store says Free with "In-App purchases", whatever that means. If it is free now or at least free to try, it is definitely worth testing out. I still think my $25 was well spent. https://apps.apple.com/gb/app/song-o...5?platform=mac |

I've been a long time Ultimate Guitar user but they really have had a lot of quality issues the last year or so. I appreciate the options provided in this thread and may look at some of these options.
