Avalon L32c - SOLD
Hey all!
I'm purging my stable at the moment - because I'm expecting a lock down here soon and am likely going to be spending lots of time looking at guitars. I might as well have some free cash I bought this Avalon L32c from forum member Mayfair a couple months ago. It's a great guitar and I really enjoy it. It is very versatile, and I use it for everything. Ultimately though, I would prefer wider string spacing. This one is 44mm at the nut. I am asking 1700 on reverb: https://reverb.com/item/36548809-avalon-l32c-2004, but would be willing to sell it for 1500 Euro here. Here is a link to Mayfairs thread from which I bought the guitar: https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...ghlight=avalon For those to don't feel like reading through old posts, here is a summary of what Mayfair had to say - it's all true. This is a FANTASTIC guitar who stands tall and proud beside by other two custom Avalons. The Sitka Spruce on this is right up there with any master built guitar I've owned. It's opened up beautifully and thanks to my friend Willi (Henkes & Blazer), it's also easy to play. Notes bloom, wonderful Irish overtones, touch-sensitive, but you can also dig into it with a lot of headroom. I can't say enough about this one. This guitar's been played (hence the great tone) but there are no structural issues. Willi leveled and polished the frets, along with a full setup putting it right within specs at 12th fret - 2.4mm (Bass) and 1.8mm (Treble). A few minor dings/scratches here and there, but otherwise a clean and well taken care of guitar. Some of the most beautiful abalone I've seen on a rosette. Current designation is the Pioneer L2-220 found HERE. ($5190 list) What are the dimensions? Large Bout: 416mm Small Bout: 303mm Waist: 258mm Depth: 124mm Nut Width: 44mm Neck Width at 14th: 56mm More HERE.
