Hi guys,

Here an arrangement of a taiwanese folk song originating from the 1930s I did. Hope you like it! Comments are appreciated!

Very nice, Pier! That looks like a really sweet Goodall, too. Is "Embrace the Spring Breeze" an accurate translation of the song's name?

Hi Pier,
You mind if I ask what tuning you're in? Sounds really nice!

Thanks ScottAllyn and jay7347! The song's tuning is in DADGAD.
"Embrace the Spring Breeze" is a pretty good translation.. "Looking Towards the Spring Breeze" is more accurate but doesn't sound quite as nice .

Well played and a nice song selection. I would never have thought there were similarities between Taiwanese folk and american western folk. Interesting - and again - nice job!!

Nice job, posted on your Youtube.

You coulld have told me that was an old West Virginia mountain lullabye, rather than a Taiwanese folk song, and I wouldn't have questioned it. Goes to show that the true international language is music!

Well done!
