Bought Ziplock sandwich bags, new sponges and a one-hole punch to replace my old, inexpensive in-case string-hung humidifiers. I’m punching the bags now while perusing the forum, watching an NHL playoff game and noodling on a guitar. Multitasking, baby!

Wow, good eye!! I am impressed. Yes that is a Losmandy. I now also have a Celestron AVX; it is very cool.

You can polar align using just the Sun, during the day. Well, you DO have to know your latitude and longitude and accurate time. It helps to also have the magnetic declination for your location, but all these are readily available. Level the mount, point at the Sun (with appropriate filter of course), punch in lat and long and time...voila. Some tweaking and you are pretty much good to go. Later at night you can seriously fine tune enough for me to be able to use my 6" Maksutov unguided for 8 to 10 minutes.

Bought this bad boy from Papa Murphy’s. I can say I baked it myself and it would be the truth. [emoji23]

I’d be afraid that they’d disappear...or something...before the show.

Blaine is great. Never seen him live, but I’d like to. Enjoy!

Nice!

Speaking of George, I was in NYC this past weekend and saw this beauty hanging at a shop in Greenwich Village. I was drooling over the one in the middle.

I bought these Grolsch Beer washers from Amazon. Not for bottling beer but for using as guitar strap locks. Being delivered in the next couple of days.
