Default Help my school win $1000 to buy Ukuleles

Hello AGF members. I wanted to ask you a favor. I am an elementary music teacher here in Oregon. One of our Credit Unions offers a grant for $1000 for a good cause. I submitted a video entry to buy a classroom set of ukuleles that I can use for students in the classroom. There is a catch. We have to be one of the top ten in votes. We could use all of the votes we can get. Would you be willing to follow the link to our YouTube video and cast a vote for my video? Click the link, then in the description section there is another link that will take you to the MAPS credit Union voter page. You will have to enter your email address to vote. Only one vote can be cast from each unique email address. Please come back here and let me know if you voted. Thank you.

You have my vote, Vance. A very worthwhile effort, and nice job on the video. Good luck!

A neighbor showed me how to play "It Ain't Gonna Rain No More" on a uke when I was about 8 years old, so I guess it was my first instrument. I never played it again, but it made an impression on both of us--Bill is now almost 90 and living far away, but when he visited town last year he still remembered that day over 50 years ago

I voted as well. I have an old Johnson Uke I would donate.
It's not much but it's yours if you want it.
Pm me the schools address and I'll dig it
out and ship it.

Voted. Good luck. The school system in Olive Branch, MS has a Uke program. Seems to be very popular the last I checked.

I voted for you and your kids to get those ukuleles, Vance. Just don't win and change your mind, deciding to get banjos instead!
