Glenn Tilbrook - The Truth/Pulling Mussels From A Shell Acoustic/Live
One of my favourite artists. The whole gig is on Youtube. Excellent stuff here - and one of the best voices ever, in my humble opinion. Enjoy!

Squeeze was one of England's best offerings, in the 70's/80's - heck, they were far better than much of the music that came from the US, same period.

Chris Difford used to come into the pub I used to drink in in London Bridge back in the late 90s - genuinely lovely bloke as I recall.

Tilbrook is one of the most underrated guitarists of the rock era. He’s been a fountain of memorable hooks and tasty, inventive little solos that are never self-indulgent but always move the song along. He has a unique style, his playing is crisp and confident, and he can be pretty chops-y when the situation calls for it.

I first saw Squeeze in 1976 at the Albany Empire in Deptford South East London, have been a massive fan of them and Glenn ever since. Seen them on numerous occasions over the years, the last being November 2019 in Llandudno. I'm seeing Glenn in Chester next march. As mentioned a very underrated guitarist, superb singer and along with Chris, brilliant songwriters with a uniquely South London slant to their songs.

Great video -- thanks for posting. Saw my fair share of Squeeze shows back in the late 80s/early 90s, always a blast. My favorite was at a club in Houston when they were touring behind Babylon And On, likely 1987 or thereabouts? 10,000 Maniacs opened and killed it. Great night.
