Default My new ukulele is on its way!

The builder, Duane Waterman in Tucson, Arizona, shipped it to me yesterday, and it’s supposed to arrive tomorrow. Wish me luck!

This one has koa back, sides and neck with super high quality German or Engelmann spruce top; Duane has had the top for more than 40 years now and is no longer certain of the species.

It’s an excellent quality top, though, regardless of species.

Well enjoy new ukulele day! One of mine has a solid spruce top---not a particularly well seasoned special piece as your sounds to be, but I like the spruce none the less.
