I agree. Really enjoyed that cover as well.

Man, I love that. Mellowest version of either My My, Hey Hey, or Hey Hey, My My I've ever heard. Has kind of a campfire feel to it, kind of like that "Will To Love" cut on American Stars and Bars. So slight, it almost feels like it could blow away, but but so beautiful you know it's not going anywhere... The Down By The River earlier in the thread is also great, with a somewhat similar feel, but also as different as the songs are...

Thanks for the kind words. Nice to think I might be my own worst critic. Not sure I buy it, but I guess that comes with the territory? But I'm not gonna stop doing it - I used to be MUCH worse, unspeakably awful. So where I am today is definitely progress. And any progress has just been from doing a lot of it...So, onward...

Last night, some local musicians played a summer Gazebo concert downtown Chatham NJ... I among them. Here is a snippet taken by the local paper... Comes a Time.

Wow, so much great stuff, all of you!

Here is a little inspiration, a Neil Young solo cover album, by a guy who was there for some of it.

Love this thread! So many great songs -- you all are very talented. I can't pick a favorite, and I enjoyed them all. Neil is musical and personal hero (see my signature), so this thread is just what I needed to see.

That looks like a lot of fun, Sal. Really sounds great. Glad to see folks gathering and jamming. Nice gazebo.

I can't believe nobody's put this one up yet. I'm even more surprised that I'd be the one to get to it. This kind of thing is not in my wheelhouse at all, but I was just enjoying picking around the chords, started singing it, and at some point, hit record....

Thanks guys. I appreciate you taking the time to listen.

I swear I must get a massive endorphin high from playing music. I liked this so much right after I recorded it and so much LESS a day later. That'a fairly common with me. It'll take a while to find it's own level in my perceptions among the other stuff I've done. I hope I kinda like it in a month... I'll be onto other things by then, and I'll listen to it out of the blue at some point and then I'll probably have a better idea of how I feel about it.
