Looks great....love the beautiful process photos. I just sanded a sound port into a Maton....fun process and big volume boost.

Thanks Jon ... and I know what you mean about the side ports ... what a difference!

Since this will be a fairly straight-ahead looking dreadnought, I thought I'd add an Art Deco-ish motif in a few places, just to make it a bit unique. I'm starting off with a partial backstrip that terminates in the motif ... and I'm liking it!

We're going for an ultra-simple rose on this one.

I am seeing this for the first time, wow!!! Beautiful work, and what an amazing set of BRW. The thread made me curious, so I just checked out your website, David, impressive. I'd love to own one of your guitars.

Thanks so much Ernesto ... you've definitely just made my day! I'm not accepting orders currently until I complete my backlog of current commissions, but if you'd like to email me, I'll contact you when I open my order book again. Thanks for taking the time to pop into this thread and to view my website!

Just to mix things up a bit, I'm going to put together a very brief and extremely informal little video to give an insight into how I cut my binding slots and apply the purfling. I should be able to post it here in a day or two. Thanks for staying tuned!

David, your notebook reminds me a bit of Mark B’s notebook. Beautiful rims to boot...
