Tough decision. I'm blessed with many great guitars from Martin and Collings and Santa Cruz, .but I would grab my Bourgeous OM vintage. It does it all.

If you could only keep one of your guitars
Sorry to my Taylor 414, Martin D-15
Orpheum OM-26 and Harmony Broadway. I would grab my 1970 Aria A-560 classical. It’s only real value is sentimental, but also my luthier mentioned that he was surprised what a great sounding guitar it is. The others I could replace, but not 50 years of aging to this great sound. |

Taylor 324 Blackwood. It's the most versatile guitar I have (at least for the stuff I do).

Wow - I had to do a double take on your join date to see if you were new! How have you fought off the peer pressure?

It would be my HD28 and if I could also keep one electric then that would be my Telecaster 52 RI.

Doesn't one lose their forum privileges if they get down to one guitar?
For me, I think the Gibson Songwriter would be the sentimental choice.

This is a depends on the day of the week question. I saw this thread when it first appeared and struggled before landing on a guitar, by the next day I had decided on another and by today I think I've gone through all five I regularly play as an answer to the question.
I'm fortunate to have a number of fine guitars. I do because they are all different and answer different needs for me. Down to one it would in the end be a Collings with Bill's signature: could be the CJ35 or one of my two OMs. But today I'm playing a Huss and Dalton dread. |

Wow! This is a tough one. I guess it would have to be my 1976 Martin D-35. Not because it is my "best" guitar but it is the one I'm most emotionally attached to.

Mine would be a 2008 Martin DC-Aura. Great player plus it has great sentimental value.

I have a 42 year-old Les Paul Custom under my bed that has alot of sentimental value. I told my daughter that if there's ever a house fire, she has to grab it before trying to save anything else. It weighs about 30 pounds so she'll literally have her hands full.
