Star Trek New Worlds. From someone who watched the original series in the 60s, take my word for it, this series (it started last year) is Star Trek.

"The Bear" on Hulu. The leads (Jeremy Allen White and Ayo Edebiri) are really great. I love seeing Chicago on TV, too.

Default WORLD ON FIRE Season 2.

I highly recommend this series.

Multiple storylines, of people, British, French, Indian, German and Polish, whose lives are so affected by WW2.

Great drama, and superb acting.

I believe it is available in the US on PBS.

I've been disappointed by about every "movie" made from good SF. Special effects dominate over storyline and "message" every time.

We’re about 6 episodes into “Silo” on Apple TV.

Just the sort of ‘dystopian future’ Sci-Fi I enjoy (if that’s the right word). This one makes me want to read the books that it’s based on.

No further comment. Rules here

Also, “Slow Horses”, on Apple TV. I’d read the first couple of books in the series before watching this, and I think it captures their spirit extraordinarily well. Great acting, great dialogue.

“Getting you lot up to speed is like trying to explain Norway to a dog.”

Just finished Good Omens 2 written by Terry Pratchitt and Neil Gaiman.

#3 will likely not appear until 2025 - ugh… too long to wait!

I'm not sure this technically counts as "watching", but I've stumbled across an interesting YouTube channel entitled, "WW2 Stories". These appear to be first person narratives of what it was like to be in the German Wehrmacht from 1938 to past the end of the war.

These are beautifully narrated accounts of a German soldier's daily life. But, I don't know the origin. Some of these events occurred 85 years ago. Nobody of legal age at that time would still be alive to render these accounts, much less render them with this quality of prose.

Still, the stories are fascinating and appear real. There's no nationalistic bias or sugar-coating.
