So, definitely recommend Fargo to anyone who hasn't seen it!

Bosch is one of the best series I've seen. 7 seasons worth, now in it's own spin off with 2 seasons completed so far.

We watched "Longmire" way back when it first came out and liked it.
Just finished watching it again and enjoyed it very much again. With my balky memory, it was like watching it for the very first time!

Peaky Blinders. Didnt expect to be pulled in but it got me through a lot of otherwise boring days when I was laid up.
We watched Marvelous Mrs Maisel a whole season at a time, and it just didnt feel right to blow through that much in a couple of nights, and then have to wait a whole year for the next season. |

I binged the first three episodes of Shogun last night - not great, as I now have to wait so long for the next one.
Yes, I think it's very good and I remember the first TV series of it. I have always been a big Toshiro Mifune fan, but I am loving Hiroyuki Sanada as Toranaga. Also, having read the book, I never felt Richard Chamberlain was right as John Blackthorne, so Cosmo Jarvis is an improvement. |

Binge watching, or at least watching whenever you have time for a couple of episodes is a great advantage over how we used to have to watch. My wife and I have been through about all the Nordic Noir stuff and now are watching Masters Of The Air as it is released. My wife's father was a B-17 navigator (Pacific theater) and we both love the stuff that's quasi-historical. |

I've been bingeing "Murder and Other Details" on Hulu with one episode left. It's truly poorly made and I have no idea why I've stuck with it, so I can't wait for it to end.

"Slow Horses" season 3, on Apple. Love me some Gary Oldman.

A Portlandia episode on binging. Some episodes are okay; some are awesome. Worth binging...
They make fun of Portland in a lighthearted way, like it's Berkeley (I think it is, a little). Fred and Carrie play different characters in the series. This one is a bit raunchy, but funny... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AUqs6OGkUdE&t=11s Last edited by Gromitspapa; 03-08-2024 at 06:12 PM. |
