Grew up in the Willamette Valley, moved to Arizona for college, then up to Tacoma where I've been for 43 years now.

I've been updating a map of guitar shop locations, here, culled from mentions of guitar shops in the forum.

Let me know if I've missed any in the NW. I use it whenever I'm planning a trip.

Would I need to register as a zeemaps user to drop a pin on the map?

I don’t know if Alaska is considered to be part of the Pacific Northwest, but I live about twenty miles north of Anchorage.

Just pinned Grants Pass, OR as the closest "urban center" to my home. I've been on or near the Pacific coast up and down the length of California for about 40 years. Ended up in the East San Francisco Bay area. 25 years ago, it was a pleasant place to live. It has since turned into a monstrously over priced, dirty, violent, unfriendly slag heap. That's what motivated my migration North. I love it up here between GP and Merlin. Clean air, good water, well maintained infrastructure, lots of room, and friendly, helpful people.

The down side to a setting this rural is the lack of guitar oriented businesses. We've got one competent guitar sales and repair shop in town, Fire River Music, and one Guitar Center 40 miles down I5 in Medford. That's it in a 50 mile radius.
