So I was thinking, I like to write lyrics based on a title.. Any ideas? Any lyrics you've come up with yet? I kind of like the title "You Don't Know(What You Don't know)" but..that's just me!!

Are you talking about the song that i made the click track for?

Here is the lyrics. You can change it anyway you want or even write something completely different.

some times we take to many things... for granted
and other times were glad for what .. we have
and shadows some times fall... they fall upon us all
and other times our lives are not... so bad

there is a place in time... where we can be
a place in time for us to fill... our dreams
it's up to us to choose... whether we win or we loose
it's up to us to find... our place in time

some times the road seems much too long... to travel
and other times it's right around... the bend
and people some times come around... and try to bring you down
and other times you find you have... a friend

there is a place in time... where we... can go
a place in time that we can call... our own
it's up to us to choose whether we win... or we loose
it's up to us to find.. our place in time

-----------new chord change-----------------------

always hold on to your... hopes and dreams
life is'nt always as hard... as it seems
just stay strong inside your mind
don't give up and you will find
you will find you have... a place in time

----------------------------------------------------------

there is a place in time... for you and me
a place in time where we can all all... be free
it's up to us to choose... whether we win or we loose
it's up to us to find... it's up to us to find... it's up to us to find... our place in time

Whatever you come up with, please post it so we can hear it...

We could do something new if you want. I'm open for anything. Do you have anything you can post?

Ok, so I haven't had much time the last few days to work on anything(super busy week), but I came up with this today.. Just toying with it, haven't tweaked anything.. And it's just a start - here goes:

It's now become, you are only
As old as you are young
And all the leaves must touch the ground,
At some point in your life
All things must make a sound,
Before they fade away
And you won't be who you are tomorrow
As you are today

One verse, I know.. But, it's all I could come up with(I can't write with distractions..)

Be gentle!!

Sharon

Bob, I'll see if I can get to it this week. My little guy is on the pop warner football team, practice 3 times this week, my daughter's surprise baby shower at our house on Saturday - and a football game on Saturday for the "B" team (second string -my son plays wingback and defensive end) and a game on Sunday as well.

Ok. I still have to re-record the vocals and rythum in time with the click track as well.

And if the click track thing don't work out, do you think the one we have is good enough?

I think the one we have is good, but I got out of sync with you near the end of the song. I don't know if a casual listener would notice it, though. Let's give it another round this week coming up, time permitting and see if we get a slightly better one. If not let's go with the one we have and enter it in that internet contest I posted earlier. I'm ready for a new song anytime you are.

I haven't forgotten about it Bob. I need a nice quiet night to record my part and triple check it. With the upcoming baby shower, I've had only about half an hour to play the last few nights.
