Default Carvin Re-Launch..............

I got an email, Carvin is BACK !

I wonder if they've re-structured, got an investor, or what happened ?

No amps being mentioned yet, but it's good to see this American Company perhaps getting a second wind.

Are they at NAMM? Good news, thanks.

When they split their guitar business off into a separate entity, it felt then like they were trying to find their space. Perhaps as they have been in liquidation mode they’ve stumbled on what makes Carvin and what doesn’t.

I do hope so for the sake of the community because they have been a good brand.

It would be a service if they continued.

That is great news! Looks like it's all smaller gear, no sign of the beloved AG200/300, but good for them.

As an AG200 owner this is potentially exciting news although I do have some trepidation that there is zero mention of any amplifiers. Maybe they are slowly gearing up. The fact that the names is 2018 Carvin Amps & Audio makes me hopeful that the amp side is on a slow roll out. Maybe they are doing some sort of total redesign with new features and whatnot. Wouldn't it be great to see a Carvin take on an array system to compete with the likes of Fishman and Bose and the plethora of others out there hitting the market. Time will tell. I also wonder if under the new company they will be providing tech support/repair of they previous line of amps.

Good news, but too late for me.

After a lot of research, I had placed my order for an AG300. It turned out to be the day they unexpectedly closed shop. The order never processed and it was never shipped.

I'm happy with the Fishman Artist I purchased instead, though.

I'm glad they're back in the game, but I'd be reluctant to order anything from them again until I'm confident they're in it to stay.

Well I'm sure they will be around for at least the next 7 years. "Closing the door" a few months ago was probably just a way for them to hit the reset button and look at maybe a whole new image with new products because thats what us humans want, is new stuff. Or they had to restructure debt. Take your pick. (Pun intended)

Gah! Would really love to see some more s600bs around! It seems they have all been bought up.

Let's not get too excited. Looks like a very small-scale, focused reboot.

Limited product lineup, and no 'pro audio' stuff, or guitar amps.

I wish them all the best. I have a huge respect for Carvin - powered PA speakers I bought for the church I used to attend are still going strong 12 years later, and the only reason they upgraded the original desk, purchased at the same time, was for automation.
