Thanks for the explanation, Bob. I think I was a little thrown off because (for some reason) the 2:20 mic recording sounds to me like it was recorded from closer up than the 3:08 mic recording (although they are both recorded from the same mic position).

In any event, your ToneDexter recorded results sound terrific to me. Congrats on your new rig. It records superbly well, and I hope it works even better for live sound.

The reviews I'm reading on the Tonedexter are terrific. I just spent my guitar allowance on a new QSC Touchmix 8. Gonna have to wait a month or two. :-)
