Lightbulb harp harmonics ala chet atkins, tommy emmannuel

does anybody have some tips in playing harp harmonics (very fast harmonic arpeggios),I cant find any tab explaining how it is done,
I read that Tommy Emmannuel had a dream that he met Chet Atkins who showed him how! ,some people have all the luck when it comes to dreaming!

The harp type effect is actually created by alternating pick hand harmonics and picked notes.

Example:
-fret this chord =x55565 (Dm11?)
-play the harmonic note at the 17th fret on the 3rd string (using your picking hand, touch the string with your index finger and pick with your thumb)
-pick the 1st string using your ring finger of your picking hand
-play the harmonic note at the 17th fret on the 4th string
-pick the 2nd string using your ring finger of your picking hand
-play the harmonic note at the 17th fret on the 5th string
-pick the 3rd string using your ring finger of your picking hand

After doing this, you'll notice a pattern. The harmonic notes and picked notes alternate and you skip one string to play the picked notes (if you play a harmonic on the 3rd string / the picked note is on the 1st string, harmonic on the 4th string / picked note on the 2nd string, etc.)

You can experiment by doing ascending and descending patterns, throwing in pull-offs on the picked notes and trying different chords (9th chords work real well). Good luck!
