I'm following this thread because I am new to learning how to get decent recordings. The info from your class was very helpful and I, for one, would like to hear any further tips from your classes, if you find the time to post them. --Bill

Newb here,
Great forum! Just found it, and I've been lurking around. I use a Blue Microphones "Yeti" along with free audio software by Kristal (see link). Works great for amateur recording. I use it to record myself practicing. I think I paid $99 for the mic. Very clean sound from the mic. The software is easy to learn and use, and will record several tracks so you can edit in singing or other instruments. http://www.kreatives.org/kristal/ |
