Default O.C. Bear Guitars

Hey there, I was just thinking about this O.C. bear guitar.
I saw it pop up again and I was impressed with it.
That herringbone sure is something!
Does anyone out there have an O.C. bear? He was very generous to donate his guitars to the Indiana National fingerstyle guitar competition that I compete in every year!
This one is for sale at Guitar Gallery

We first met Clint and his wife while exhibiting at the IBMA show in Nashville a decade or so ago. I fondly remember that Clint built some mighty fine guitars. Glad to see he is still honing his craft.

Yes Clint and his wife are top notch! I've played a bunch of his guitars over the years. In fact I played a really nice brazillian rosewood one in Indiana. It was a smaller one OM 12 fret.. Had such a wonderful sound!

I believe I met them in Nashville a bunch of years back at a Folk Alliance Gathering. Nice guitars I said to myself.

Clint is making a guitar for me as I write this...When I met him at his house in Madison, Indiana, I played the Nick Lucas he made. That guitar just sang, and I knew that I had to have him build me a guitar. I did a lot of research on him and many other luthiers. Clint is a great communicator and someone who knows what you should have in a guitar, and steers you away from crazy ideas. I should know...I had some whacked out ideas about a guitar I wanted. He brought me down from the ledge and helped me make some reasonable decisions. As he has sent me pictures, I am very grateful for his sage advice. This guy is a treasure. I am going to get a great guitar for a very reasonable price.
