Default Sageworks How do you Remove adhesive

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I'm just wondering if anyone knows how to remove the Sageworks adhesive strips under the magnets inside the guitar? I remember trying to do this once with one guitar that I was selling so that I could keep the magnets but there was no possible way that I could see to remove the adhesive.

Sageworks has no video available on how to do this, neither does the entire internet.

Please help!

Check page 11 of the installation manual.

Assuming that they were attached using the accompanying 3M Command Strips, you should be able to slowly pull on the tab and the adhesive strip will stretch and release.

I think in the case of the Sageworks install, the recommendation is to pull the tab more towards the side.
Quote:
"To remove the internal magnet holders from inside the instrument, VERY SLOWLY pull laterally on the adhesive’s exposed tab until the adhesive releases. Be patient; the adhesive will release gradually. Too much force all at once may cause the tab to break or the adhesive to release suddenly. If the tab breaks, first try rotating the magnet holder along the plane of the side of the guitar. If this is not possible, sliding a credit card between the magnet holder and the side of the guitar should allow the magnet holder to be removed."

If the Command strip has somehow lost the tab, you can just twist it slowly. It will come loose.

So how did it work out? I ask because I'll be doing it myself soon.
