Yes, it is. Having the side and bottom tuners really make it easier to figure out which string you are tuning than a straight headstock.

The maple one is a bit easier to change strings with the open slots. Still a pain in the azz though.

My guilty secret? I owned my 330/12 for about 3 years, and never changed the strings - I couldn’t quite seem to get around to it

The fresh pack of Curt Mangan strings that Pick Of The Ricks included with it were still in the case when I sold it.
