Default Sunday content (The Lord's Prayer - Larry Carlton)

This arrangement is from Larry Carlton, played on my Carruth 12-fret 000.

This was a quick home recording, no effects, single take with no editing.

Lovely tone and playing

That version of The Lord's Prayer takes me back 50 years ( wow what thought ) when I first heard it and it still moves me the same way now

Thank you

Thanks for listening, and apologies for the delayed response. Glad to hear you like the tone. I believe Larry Carlton recorded this around 1986.

Very nicely done. I play it that way as well (skipping the second part). I also like Larry’s composition Her Favorite Song. It incorporates some great voice leading.

Thanks for listening and for the feedback. The music was transcribed for Frets magazine in the latter part of the 80s (way before internet access to material like we have now). I had learned both parts, but I haven't kept up on the second part. I used to have a 14 fret with a cutaway which really helped access up the fretboard for the second part.

I also like to play Her Favorite Song (which was also transcribed in Frets).
