How you doing, Ricfreak? I remember you've got that amazing electric guitar room with the artist photos (and artist guitars). Some beautiful Hummingbirds! Is the only thing different between them the finish?

Hope you're keeping safe and healthy in Singapore.

Only current pic of mine includes the Strat...hope that’s allowed.

I live in Utah and used to go visit The Great Salt Lake Guitar Company and chat with Ken. Great guitars.

My dread. Definitely not a pretty one! But it's an old war-horse. Beat up old Seagull S6 with both an LR Baggs M1a and a JJB 330. Sounds dry as a bone with Martin Retro Monels.

It’s a keeper! It’s my kids’ favorite and I hope it stays in the family for a long, long time.

I bought my first guitar (Art & Lutherie) there almost two decades ago. I have fond memories of going in there to buy a pack of strings and then going back to admire the Taylor guitars which were the holy grail to me as a young player. About five years after getting my first guitar, I went in and left with a Taylor!

I never had the guts to ask to play one of Ken’s guitars (which were even beyond holy grail status to me as a young player), but one time his son Reo had me play one of his, which I can only assume were very similar. It was really cool. They used to do a guitar-building class in the summers, which in hindsight I really wish I’d been able to do. I think Reo sold the shop a year or two ago, but I wonder if he’s still building guitars.

Anyway, I’ll stop with the distraction. Back to the dreadnoughts. Lots of cool ones so far!

Thanks. The pair (Martin & Collings) are better than I deserve. The Voyage Air is right there but up for sale.

Two dreads in the house....Santa Cruz Vintage Jumbo Slope shoulder and Bourgeois Fully Torriefied D (Adi/Mah). Both are great guitars.

I’ve bought and sold a few guitars, but this 320 will never be sold.

Here are the two big dogs among my dreads. My Bourgeois DR-A and my Martin CS D-18. Not pictured are my Sigma DR-7 and Eastman E6d.
