Default Better by Now - original tune

This is an instrumental piece I've been messing with for a bit. I couldn't settle on a name for it, and I kept tweaking a few things here and there. Yesterday, I had one of those moments where after nearly 23 years of marriage, I put my foot in my mouth and thought "I should know better by now." The lightbulb came on and I sat down to record the tune. Sometimes the tune comes, and you don't know what the song is saying. I finally got it yesterday.

Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy in these times we're livin' in.

Enjoyed that

Those Larrivee mahogany OM's always sound sweet. I used to own a OM-50 that I loved but in the end I needed a shorter scale.

Lord willing, we'll be at 53 years on the 15th of April. The foot-in -the-mouth syndrome doesn't get any better.

Liked the tune.

Very nice Treenewt!

I enjoyed that! Sounded good!

I know about the foot-in-mouth thing. My wife and I celebrate 50 years of marriage this June. I was worried about planning some trip but it's obvious now that we are not going anywhere this year! That's okay!

Very nice piece Treenewt!

Thanks so much for listening Glenn! And massive congrats to you and to The Sower (I forgot to give him props) on 50+ years of marriage! That’s absolutely awesome! We are coming up on 23, and as I said, I still feel like a newb. She deserves better. I pray I’ll be better with each day.
